Officials of Thomas Cook Please note - I had a very good experience of Thomas Cook, so I chose to go to Almaty with their package from 16 june to 23 june, 2025. But this was the worst experience in traveling. While having knowledge of our age(Senior Citizen)the agent (Shilpa kanojia, connaught place branch) sent us to mountain resort AI Qaragai mountain resort at standard room, 2nd floor. Here on mountain slopy roads, All rooms are at a distance from restaurants or Reception. Here it was difficult to reach any Floor. We had to upgrade our room to Ground floor. We difficultly passed 2 days here. This place is not meant for Senior Citizens as we could not even walk to restaurants. This place is only for children and youngsters for different activities, which are all at far different places. We paid a large amount for business class tickets and stay. Such a stupid decision to select such place. We paid for good Sedan car, but we got Hashback car for traveling. We got non English speaking drivers, and we requested again and again for English speaking driver, then we got after 4 days. We travelled earlier also to Almaty from other company, we got good English speaking driver cum guide. Our Hotel Rahat palace was also not upto mark or centrally located as described. It was on a lonely silent place, where there was no hustle bustle of city. Please take care of the requirements of passengers please. Chitra Garg New Delhi
