I recently availed services from Thomas Cook's Aurangabad office for my trip to Dubai. My overall experience was good to a certain extent, but there were a few areas where I felt neglected, which I believe should be addressed. To begin with, I’d like to appreciate the smooth and hassle-free process of currency exchange. The gentleman who handled my request was respectful, kind, and efficient in managing the transaction. His courteous approach and prompt service truly stood out and made that part of the process very convenient for me. I had also consulted Ms. Amruta at the office regarding my holiday plans. She kindly offered suggestions which initially helped me decide to go ahead with booking hotels and transportation through Thomas Cook. However, after that discussion, I was unable to get through via calls or messages for any further assistance. Later, I received an update that she was unwell — something I completely understand and empathize with. Despite that, a week passed with no further follow-up. With my travel dates approaching, I had to independently make arrangements for accommodation and transport, which ideally should have been managed through the initial consultation. My only request to Thomas Cook is to consider appointing an additional point of contact or a backup representative at the Aurangabad branch. That way, if one person is unavailable due to unavoidable reasons, another team member can step in and assist clients seamlessly. I want to emphasize that Amruta was respectful and courteous throughout our interaction, and my concern is not personal but procedural. The Aurangabad team definitely has good and capable employees — this suggestion is only to ensure that other customers do not face the same inconvenience I experienced. Thank you.
