To high prise and not respond proper in call after they're sales is over
Quick customer response. The staff is amicable and courteous. You can exchange most currencies including CHF here unlike SBI which only has Pound, Euro, USD. The exchange price is disadvantageous as compared to the SBI for obvious reasons.
Although nowhere in India you can convert directly from one foreign currency to another foreign currency. You have to go through INR (Indian Rupee) which means you would be taxed twice.
Per exchange transaction the GST tax is 0.18% of INR amount.
Which means if you want to sell/buy 1lakh INR, you'll pay 180INR in GST.
For amounts above 50k you'll need a pan card.
You can check the rate on their website which is uniform for the entire country. The exchange rate does not vary from store to store of Thomas Cook.
Good place if you're in urgency or if you need to exchange anything apart from USD/POUND/EURO. Else I'd prefer SBI (you should have an SBI account anywhere in India with a checkbook).
ICICI bank recommended their service, as a company from foreign country, realky appreciate their efficiency, and that's important.
It's a good place for all your travel related queries and force exchange.
Buying foreign currency was really never this easy......
