I had booked an international trip to Bhutan with my wife through the Thomas Cook agency in Sahakaranagar. Riya was our point of contact. We left in a batch of about 90 on April 26, 2025 and returned the following Saturday. Riya was excellent as a point of contact and provided all the help and clarifications required to Pay the cost of travel and get prepared for the tour. Sometimes she was a bit helpless as her headquarters' contacts were not providing the adequate information I sought. Overall, when all the details arrived two days before the travel started, everything changed to much greener pastures than I ever imagined. David, as the tour guide, Bhutan airways, the local guides, the friendly staff from Thomas Cook, the hotels we stayed at, the food served, the buses in which we travelled, and the service provided while shifting from Thimpu to Punakha to Paro were all excellent. I am 72 years old, and the support David and his local guides provided to undertake a 12km trek with my wife to Tiger Hills can not be put into words. Fog, rain, Sunshine, cold, fatigue...help was available to meet the necessity. The fellow travellers were also excellent. It was fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. Many co-passengers, unlike us, were familiar with Thomas Cook holidays, and they all said we would return to them for the next tour. David and Riya, good luck to you both in all your future endeavours.
