In my case, I mistakenly entered some other pin/number to open thomas cook application and it got locked saying try again some time. But my rent was due and I had to pay my rent so I went to nearby atm machine to withdraw cash and my TC card got captured by the ATM. I panicked and my eyes were full of tears. Also there was some amount in my Australian bank and that was manageable. I called TC office and they were so supportive like I got my replacement card in just 4-5 days.
If this ever happen to you guys don't panic first of all temporarily block your card and unblock it just for cardless transactions like nfc. Till then you will get your card.
